Today we thought we would do a fine motor activity which would benefit both Hayden and Mikala. Mikala has been dying to use her beads again so we made some bookmarks.
Basically we tied a bead on one end. The kids threaded on some beads – whatever they wanted. I tied some knots and left a section and then they put some beads on the end which hangs out the top of the book.
We were lucky enough to have one of Hayden’s friends come over for the afternoon and he was very keen to make his Mum one too!
I think they did a great job!

These are so pretty. I have two boys, so pretty craft just isn’t an option. But I have a little collection of beautiful beads that I’ve kept for, I don’t know what – but they were just too lovely not to keep! So, now I know what I’m going to do with them – mummy craft time.
